Things are real now. Getting your first VA jobs 🦄

I know yesterday's task could have pushed you out of your comfort zone. Perhaps, getting you to do something you've never done before.

And today is possibly going to push you even further. 

But please, trust this process.

I have been in business for over 20 years, I have started and grown multiple successful businesses from scratch. 

I'm not being arrogant to say I know a lot about business and marketing. I have expertise you can only gain by doing this for years. It is why I am a $160k earning, Top Rated Seller on fiverr and why I was awarded businesswoman of the year.

I know a thing or two about business and also, starting from nothing like you're doing now 😉

So please trust me with this and go out of your comfort zone. Push yourself and experience the awesomeness that is on the other side.

Now, I am giving feedback on everyone's homework from yesterday (just on Day 3 - it takes a long time to go through them all - if I haven't replied yet, I will get to it as soon as I can). Please don't be offended if I suggest for you to find different groups. There is no right or wrong with these exercises and you're not being graded or judged or anything like that. I am just trying to encourage you to think differently to the groups that YOU want to join, so this strategy will work most effectively for you. Because I want you to get your first VA jobs 🥰 

One of the most important things I want you to remember about being a freelance virtual assistant, is to make it about your CLIENT. Not about YOU. 

Which is a big mindset shift, I know. I'll be doing a question and answer live coaching session in the group today Thursday 26th March at 7pm so please join me and I can help or clarify further if you need. This is your chance to ask me anything.

Think of groups your ideal clients would be in and go to them. I can almost guarantee your potential clients will NOT be in freelancer, virtual assistant or home-based worker groups. As those are things that interest YOU.

Your potential clients will be in groups that interest THEM. Which is why it is important to decide who your ideal client is first, so then you can work out how to find them.

And once you've found them, the exciting part starts!

Your mission today, is to post in those groups, offering your virtual assistant services to those who have expressed they need help (or relevant promo threads if the groups you've joined have them).

Watch the video before doing this and read through the worksheet, which shows examples, to give you a better idea of how to do this.

Something to remember, if you're a newbie and you are offering work for free (which is a great way to get that first job experience), it should always be on YOUR terms and in exchange for something - either experience (that you want) ie a testimonial, being able to use the work in your portfolio or a reference. 

Homework today is simple. I challenge you to post at least 3 comments in the groups you've joined (the ones where your potential clients are - not the ones where other VA's and freelancers are). You can use the worksheet as a guide and help. Just make sure you don't cut and paste. Use my suggested scripts as a guide on how to respond and adjust to suit each post and how you would naturally talk.
